A call for help

Already, for more than a year, Pinoy Balita has visited the homes and workplaces of thousands of OFWs in Korea. Our staff have

patiently written and gathered news, current events and other happenings not only from the Philippines and Korea but from all over the world and sent them to Pinoy Balita readers to satisfy

their thirst for news and information.

This fortnightly effort although tedious and sometimes disheartening has brought endless happiness to us at the thought that we are delivering a worthwhile and  noble service to YOU—OFWs in Korea.

However, like those of any other publication, Pinoy Balita management and staff would like to determine if our readers appreciate our efforts and if they look forward to reading Pinoy Balita’s next issue. If not, what is the reason for its existence?

Thus getting feedback from YOU is of prime importance to us to prove to Pinoy Balita sponsors, benefactors and advertisers that we deserve to be supported by them.

As a newspaper freely given to you, we do not have sales reports to serve as basis of your interest. Empty shelves from which you pick up copies of Pinoy Balita is not sufficient to determine your interest. This is so because other people might be using Pinoy Balita for other purposes rather than what it was issued for.

Therefore, to justify to our advertisers, sponsors and donors Pinoy Balita’s reason for its further existence, we are asking for your help by showing your desire for Pinoy Balita’s continued publication.

You can show your support by honestly writing to us your feelings regarding Pinoy Balita’s efforts, suggestions to improve its contents, literary contributions and much better yet by bringing advertisers to us.

We are asking your support because publishing costs have been rising and our financial viability is under question. Your show of strong support will, to a great extent, assuage the rising clamor for us to justify Pinoy Balita’s existence or else...
