The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) is the conduit of the Order Regalo Program where Filipinos abroad
can buy products they can send home to their family and friends in the Philippines from PITC-accredited Order Centers.
Order regalo is the easy and reliable way of sending gifts to your loved ones in the Philippines in cheaper prices. It
is a government program for Overseas Filipinos which enables them to purchase, while abroad, gifts for their relatives and
friends for delivery in the Philippines. The program aims to:
- Generate foreign exchange for the country.
- Promote Philippine-made or assembled products.
- Help in bringing the families of OF closer to each other.
Order Regalo is one of DTI's (Department of Trade and Industry) projects under the PITC (Philippine International
Trading Corporation) which is a government-owned and controlled corporation.
How to order a gift? (simple and easy)
Simply choose a gift from the Order Regalo CATALOGUE from the 'order center' near you. Fill-out the order form (includes:
sender, recipient, product or item code and description). Pay the corresponding amount. Your order center will inform you
if the delivery had been made. (Order Center is the accredited representative of Order Regalo in a foreign country).
Description of Operation
The PITC-Order regalo Group accredits Order Centers or agents in countries where there are significant number of Filipino
residents and / or contract workers to act as sales conduits. At present, there are 45 Order Centers in 21 countries. The
group accredits local manufacturers to participate in the program to ensure the supply of products to the program.
This program is available to overseas Filipinos and those who are already in the Philippines. For the Overseas Filipinos
(OF), transactions are made through the accredited order Center in the country where they are based.
Through a catalog provided by the Order Regalo Head Office, the OF chooses the product he wants to send home to his
family or friends in the Philippines and pays for the product. The Order Center takes the order, advices PITC of the
product and place of deliver, and remits payment to PITC. Upon receipt of payment, PITC delivers the product to the recipient
in the Philippines.
Those who have traveled and are already back in the Philippines have one (1) year from the date of arrival to avail of
the privilege under the Order Regalo Program. To be able to purchase locally under the program, the passport must be presented
and the payment.
FAQs about Order Regalo
Who can buy under the Order Regalo Program?
Because the merchandise sold under the program are tax and duty free, only certain individuals are qualified
to buy under the program. They are:
Filipinos working overseas. (To prove this, you will be asked for the name and address of your employer.)
Filipinos and other nationalities residing outside the Philippines. (This will be proven by your current address);
and Filipinos or foreignerswho have travelled abroad provided they place their order one (1) year from date of arrival in
the Philippines. (If your current address is in the Philippines, you will be asked for your passport number and date issued,
and your latest arrival date. One set of photocopies of the relevant passport pages will also be required.)
Do you deliver in Visayas and MIndanao?
Yes. Delivery is nationwide. Lead-time is three (3) to five (5) working days within Metro Manila; one (1) week
within Luzon, outside Metro Manila; and, two (2) weeks within Visayas and Mindanao.
Are products covered by warranties / guarantees?
Yes. The product carry the manufacturer's warranties/guarantees which are honored by any accredited service
center.
Are the products compatible with the Philippine electrical system?
Yes. Because the products are made for the Philippines, its 220V not 110V; NTSC not PAL, Secam, etc.
Are prices competitive?
Yes, In some cases, prices are 10% lower than retail prices in the Philippines because manufacturers enjoy tax
rebates as a participant in a government program.
